“Iron Monkey is a great and welcoming facility. They focus on strength and power lifts and a lot of great kettlebell training. Upon joining, you are put through a 12-week Rite of Passage where you learn multiple kettlebell and barbell lifts. After completing, you gain an open lift pass where you are free to train with supervision from Jason and Jesse.
Jason is a very passionate, educated, encouraging trainer, always pushing you to be the best you can be, safely of course. He is always either teaching clients, correcting form, or giving you that needed moral support. Jesse is another trainer that is very supportive and knowledgeable, as well. He shows a lot of positive attitude and support for his clients.
This facility is good for people learning to lift and improving their overall strength. I first joined Iron Monkey as an intern for my major at Queens College and grew to love the environment and training techniques. Now that I completed my hours, I continue my training and will be looking forward to what lies ahead for me. I would highly recommend to friends and family.“
