What is the TSC? It is an Iron Monkey Strength tradition to host this event every October, and we have such a good time. The challenge is a friendly competition for Deadlifts (for max weight), Flexed Arm Hang (for time) or Pullups (reps), and Kettlebell Snatches for 5 minutes (reps). It’s a great time, and you don’t have to compete in all 3 events if you don’t want to. Find our more HERE —> Seriously Click HERE

Many of you know Adele and her husband James. Well, Adele is raising money for suicide prevention. There is a personal story behind Adele’s quest, and we want to support her. On the bulletin board in the hallway she posted the QR code and a story about her friend Alexi and her battle with depression. A lot of people don’t realize that people who suffer from depression often appear like normal happy people, but there is a darkness underneath that is private and often hidden from the outside world. My own mother is diagnosed with clinical depression, and I grew up seeing the struggle first hand.

Adele will really appreciate your support! Thank you for helping make Iron Monkey Strength more than just a gym, and for helping us in the battle to prevent suicide.
The Kettlebell Mile -a New FREE Class
Every Wednesday a group of us are doing the Kettlebell mile. If you want to walk the mile with us, meet us at the gym by 7:15AM and we’ll go for the walk. We’ve been having a great time walking around the neighborhood with our kettlebell and man do you feel the challenge. A simple walk with a kettlebell, and big results to be seen. This is also a very easy way to bring a friend. I hope to see you next week for the Kettlebell Mile!
Ok, that’s everything! See you in the gym 💪
