“Joining Iron Monkey Strength was the best decision I’ve made in the last 10 years. Why? Three reasons:
1. The people. Jason and Jesse are a class act; their knowledge of, and passion for, physical culture and strength training was evident from my first moments speaking with them. They were there with me every step of the way through my Rite of Passage, even going so far as to keep the gym open late to accommodate my busy schedule.
2. The process. Through working with Jason and Jesse, I’ve acquired a very broad strength training skillset (single- and double-kettlebell work + all major barbell powerlifts) in a very short period of time. Most importantly, I can perform each of these lifts in a safe and sustainable manner as to mitigate the risk of injury.
3. The results. COVID-19 has had an impact on us all, both mentally and physically. Due to the sedentary nature of my job, I put on 10 pounds. After my three-day-a-week Rite of Passage was all said and done, I dropped had 6 pounds of fat and gained 5 pounds of muscle.
I’m excited to continue my journey with Iron Monkey Strength as a certified Open Lifter, and am looking forward to competing in my first-ever competition in April 2021!“
